The State of My Vellas

Due to work and school, along with some concerns of Kindle Vella's longevity, I have decided to wrap up two of my ongoing series. The Threads That Weave is getting a proper ending and some closure, but Diary of A Stray Cat is going into indefinite hiatus. I may pull the story in the future, along with Early Adopter, but I'll leave it alone for now.

Last Train Home will continue as intended, and may get longer episodes (roughly 1200-1600 words) to make up for my dwindling collection.

For fans of Stray Cat, don't worry! While that series is coming to a premature end, I have been working on the old WIP it's based on. I've written 15,262 words for it so far, though I've mostly tied up this part of the story. Next will be...the rewrite of the 30k of the old WIP. I'm not as thrilled about this step, but it's crucial! It's also in third person POV, hence the mounting dread I feel.

I'm rather excited, despite that. I finally think I can wrap up this story I've been mulling over for almost twenty years! It's had so many iterations and was inspired by Kill Bill and my love for feline shifters.

While I like the idea of posting it on Vella, for the sake of the bonuses, I am also wary of giving Amazon top priority. Especially since I don't know what's going on with Vella. I may post it on Ream instead, but I'm not in a rush to do so. I just want to actually finish the damn thing.

I also need to consider a cover for it, and then commission someone to write the blurb, as I really want it to stand out.

Anyway, I'll send a newsletter when I decide on something.
