Minor Updates and Schedule
Hey y'all!
I'm going to be quite busy over the next few days, as we're moving. I still have one last promo I want to run next week (big sapphfic book sale!), but that's easy to setup.
The big news is that I have a better idea of when my WIP will be released! I'm aiming for the first week of February, but this is entirely reliant on me having edits done. But I think those odds are very good right now. I have less than 4k words to write for the book, and then I'll let it sit for two weeks before diving into edits.
I may tweak it before publishing, but I have a blurb as well. I feel like I'm getting a lot better at writing these. I just wish I'd been less swayed by imposter syndrome, in terms of my blurb for Fluid Bonding. What I had originally was apparently good, a fact I learned a little too late while requesting a more polished blurb from a writing service. Unfortunate, but it happens.
I have a cover for it as well, but I'm holding off on announcing it at the moment.
The blurb:
Romance was never a priority in Cyrille's life; work, family, and her dog always came first. And compounded by her upbringing in a small town, finding a girlfriend seemed out of reach. It was always "someday," a distant dream and hope.
That someday came in her late 30s, with the realization that life caught up fast, and she's experiencing a serious case of FOMO.
And a lot has changed over the last twenty years, leading to a steadily progressive attitude in town. A not yet out Cyrille braves a speed dating event, where she meets three potential partners: a childhood friend, a coworker, and a so-called "Goblin of the Forest."
But dating has its ups and downs, as Cyrille comes to find; the person you like the most isn’t always the right one for you. In fact, the right person may be the one you least expect.
